Our Story and Our Goals
J-WAT Productions LLC has been producing and shooting content for over 7 years. From feature films, trailers, commercials, award winning shorts, and more. J-WAT’s goal is to tell stories with strong characters and impactful connections. They strive to reach a wide range of audiences without sacrificing the core characters, and story arcs. With their strong background in post-production, and production management, they work well with budgets and make sure their movies are the best they can be.
Alex Watson - Founder - Writer/Producer/Director
Alexander Watson (or Watson to his friends) founded J-WAT Productions with one goal in mind - make cool stuff with his friends. He has had a very interesting career so far, starting off in 2015 when he won Audience Choice and Best Film from Lucas Film and Disney for a Star Wars film he made. After moving out to Los Angeles he became a full time Film editor where he worked with TV shows and movies like: American Horror Story, The Predator, and The Exorcist. He has also written and directed two seasons of a web-series called Funny Side Up, many award-winning shorts, and a feature length horror-thriller Bundy Manor. His next feature, Demonetize, is currently in festivals.
Terrence Kiriokos - Producer
Terrence Kiriokos has been working in the entertainment industry since 2007 and in film since 2010. With over 120 movies, tv shows and new media titles under his belt, he brings valuable experience to any film production. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, and the Television Academy. He has also been playing drums for nearly 30 years and his bands have played with some of the most legendary punk bands of all time.
Tim Drake - Producer & Writer
Tim Drake is an award winning filmmaker, comedy writer, radio and podcast producer. Tim’s writing has published by notable comedy outlets, including The Second City and Funny or Die, with jokes and tweets featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Comedy Central. While working at the Nerdmelt Showroom in Los Angeles, Tim directed a documentary encompassing the Nerdist comedy room’s final days. Tim’s films have been screened world wide, including screenings at Warner Brothers Studios and the Directors Guild of America. He’s produced morning radio shows and podcasts for over 10 years at the Sundance Film Festival and is a regular live show for San Diego Comic-Con.
Tim recently worked with the Austin Film Festival and Nashville Film Festival providing script coverage and was a producer on J-WAT’s first feature length horror-thriller Bundy Manor. and the new horror comedy, Demonetize.
Clyde Ratliff - Producer
Clyde is a marketing and sales guru with a passion for filmmaking. He has worked in sales for over 10 years with a specialty in digital ad spend. Bundy Manor is his first feature length film, as well as producing five episodes of the horror web series “Screams from the Dark”, with several other film and digital media projects in the works.
